KlewAI

FAQ

Questions people actually ask.

Detection, supported platforms, privacy, billing and plans — answered plainly.

KlewAI runs as a separate always-on-top overlay and is designed not to appear in screen-shares or recordings, and not to join your meeting. It isn't a participant and no bot shows up in the call. That said, no tool can promise every configuration on every platform is invisible — use good judgment, keep your eyes on the camera, and follow the rules of your interview.
Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Webex are all supported — and in practice any call whose audio plays through your Mac. KlewAI listens to system audio rather than integrating with a specific app, so it works across browser-based and native clients alike.
Just the KlewAI app. On first launch you grant two macOS permissions: Screen Recording (so it can read screenshots of coding problems) and system-audio capture via a small in-app helper (so it can hear the interviewer). Both are toggles in System Settings; the app walks you through them.
No. Nothing joins the meeting. KlewAI sits on your side of the screen and listens to the audio coming out of your speakers — the interviewer sees an ordinary call with just the two of you.
Your résumé and job description are used to ground your answers during a session so they match your real experience. They stay tied to your use of the app — we don’t sell your data or share it with your interviewer. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail on what is processed and for how long.
Audio is transcribed live to generate answers in the moment. KlewAI is built around real-time assistance, not archiving your interviews. You can review exactly what is retained and your options in the Privacy Policy.
KlewAI is engineered to stay off screen-shares and recordings and to move aside instantly with a keystroke. It never appears in the participant list. As with any assistance tool, use it responsibly and within the rules that apply to your interview.
Free is the real thing, for long enough to judge it: it hears the interviewer and answers live, for three 10-minute sessions, with one model, 40 answers and 5 screenshots — but without your résumé or the job description. Pro ($29/mo, or $19/mo yearly) removes every limit: unlimited time and screenshots, answers grounded in your résumé and the job description, and all standard models. Premium ($49/mo, or $35/mo yearly) adds the top-tier, highest-quality models for the hardest rounds.
Sign in first — press Login in the app and it opens your browser to sign in with Google or a one-time email link. Then choose Pro or Premium and complete checkout on our secure hosted payment page. Your plan is attached to your account, so the app picks it up on its next launch. There is no key to paste.
Everything lives in the dashboard at klewai.com/dashboard — upgrade, update your card, or cancel. Cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the billing period. Need help? Email support@klewai.com.
Yes. If KlewAI isn’t working out, contact us within the window described in our Refund Policy and we’ll help. Because Free lets you confirm the app runs on your Mac before paying, we recommend trying it first.
